What Litecoin is#
Litecoin (LTC) launched in October 2011 as a decentralised cryptocurrency for payments worldwide. Its network adds a new block about every 2.5 minutes, against Bitcoin’s 10. You buy LTC on a centralised exchange, trading a fiat currency such as USD or another coin such as BTC for it. At the partner casino Litecoin works for deposits and withdrawals, and withdrawals take up to 15 minutes.
